The vital point to note is that Christ is utterly sufficient to meet us in our need. Since he has experienced temptation and suffering, he is able to help us (Heb. 4:14–16). This applies to us in every area of life, not only in our spiritual struggles but also in suffering and oppression of a tangible, material kind.
